What par cans do
A par can throws a broad, soft-edged beam of coloured light. It isn't a spotlight that follows one person. It's a wash light that colours a whole surface. Place a few around a hall and the room changes character: warm ambers for a reception dinner, deep blues and magentas for a sangeet dance floor, a single colour across a backdrop for photos.
Where to place them
- Uplighting walls and pillars: set the light on the floor a short distance from the wall and aim it upward. Cheap, dramatic and great in photos.
- Stage wash: place lights in front of the stage at an angle from both sides, so performers are lit without hard shadows.
- Dance floor: aim lights from the edges across the floor. Add a fog machine and the beams become visible in the air.
- Focal points: highlight a cake table, mandap or welcome board.

Halogen: what you need to know
These are halogen par cans. They give a warm, rich light, but they need more care than LED fixtures:
- They run hot. Keep each light at least a metre from curtains, drapes, balloons and flower décor. Don't touch the housing while it's on, and let it cool before moving it.
- They draw real power. Each light needs its own socket, and you shouldn't stack many lights on one extension board. Spread them across circuits.
- Keep them away from kids and walkways. Place them where guests won't brush against them.

Free delivery within 10 km of our base in S.G. Palya, Bengaluru. Setup and pickup are included. Beyond 10 km, the delivery charge is based on distance and confirmed when you book. Same-day delivery is subject to availability, between 9 am and 8 pm.

Rental terms
An advance confirms your booking, with the balance due on delivery. A valid photo ID is required. You are responsible for the equipment during the rental, including venue permissions and noise rules.
Halogen housings get very hot. Customers are responsible for keeping lights away from fabric, décor and children during the rental.
