What matters when renting a projector for a day

For a one-day rental, three things decide whether the event goes well: brightness, how the image fits the space, and how quickly it's set up.

Brightness

Lumens decide whether people can read your slides with the lights on. Home LED projectors often struggle in lit rooms. Our NEC LCD projector is rated at 3300 lumens, enough for office meeting rooms, seminar halls and living rooms in the evening. No rental projector at this level beats direct daylight, so outdoor screenings should start after sunset.

Image size and screen

Bigger images look dimmer because the same light spreads further. Keep the image around 80–120 inches diagonal in a lit room. Our 6×4 ft screen is about 87 inches and the 7×5 ft about 103 inches, and both suit the projector's 4:3 shape. A plain white wall works for informal use, but a screen gives sharper text and truer colours.

Setup

The projector comes with a stand, HDMI cable and 5 m extension box. Our team positions it, squares and focuses the image, and tests it with your laptop. Bring an HDMI adapter if your laptop or phone only has USB-C or Lightning.

Don't forget audio

A projector handles the picture. For video with sound in anything bigger than a meeting room, pair it with a speaker. For a presenter, add a wireless headset or collar mic. For a conference, add a podium.
