In short

Projector rental in Bangalore is commonly advertised at roughly ₹750 to ₹3,500 per day. The price depends on brightness, resolution and whether a screen, delivery and setup are included. Namma Visuals rents a 3300-lumen LCD projector for ₹1,200 per day with stand, HDMI cable and setup, plus ₹300 per day for a screen.

The short answer: advertised daily rates for business projectors serving Bangalore mostly fall between about ₹750 and ₹3,500. The headline number rarely tells the whole story, though. What's included decides the real cost.

What the market advertises

We looked at public listings on IndiaMART and magicpin in October 2026, mostly from suppliers that list Bangalore among their service locations. These are advertised prices, not quotes, and they vary by what's bundled:

  • Basic business projectors for meetings are advertised from around ₹750–₹850 per day.
  • Mid-range LCD or LED projectors commonly appear at about ₹1,200–₹1,500 per day.
  • Full HD or higher-brightness models (3000–3500 lumens) are listed at roughly ₹2,500–₹3,500 per day.
  • Projector plus screen packages in some cities are advertised around ₹2,000 per day.
  • Standalone screens appear at around ₹550 per day in some listings.

Some suppliers also advertise hourly rates, which can look cheap but add up for a full event. Our sources are listed at the end of this article.

What changes the price

Brightness (lumens)

The biggest driver. Higher lumens mean the image survives room lights. A projector that looks fine in a dark home theatre can be unreadable in an office.

Resolution

Full HD and 4K projectors cost more. For slides and photo slideshows, XGA or HD is usually enough. For long-form video on a large screen, Full HD is worth paying for.

Screen, stand and cables

Some quotes include a screen and stand; others don't. Without a stand you need a table at the right height, and without a long enough HDMI cable your laptop ends up next to the projector.

Delivery and setup

Doorstep delivery, pickup and on-site setup are where quotes differ most. A cheap rate with a separate delivery charge each way can cost more than a higher all-in rate.

Duration

Multi-day and weekly rentals are often cheaper per day. Ask what each additional day costs.

What we charge

At Namma Visuals, our 3300-lumen NEC LCD projector is ₹1,200 per day, and each additional day is ₹1,200. That includes a stand, an HDMI cable, a 5 m extension box and setup. The projector screen is ₹300 per day. Delivery is free within 10 km of our base in S.G. Palya. Beyond that, we quote the delivery charge upfront.

How to compare quotes

Ask every supplier the same questions:

  1. What's the brightness in lumens, and the native resolution?
  2. Is a screen included? What size?
  3. Are a stand and HDMI cable included? How long is the cable?
  4. Are delivery, setup and pickup included, or charged separately?
  5. What does each additional day cost?
  6. Is there a security deposit?

Compare the total for your event, not the headline daily rate.

Rent or buy?

If you need a projector a few times a year, renting is usually cheaper once you count the screen, stand, cables, storage and occasional repairs. If your team presents several times a week in the same room, buying may make more sense.

FAQs

What is the typical daily cost to rent a projector?

Business projector listings that serve Bangalore advertise roughly ₹750 to ₹3,500 per day, depending on brightness, resolution and whether a screen and setup are included.

Is a screen included in projector rental?

It varies by supplier. At Namma Visuals the screen is separate, at ₹300 per day.

Is it cheaper to rent for multiple days?

Some suppliers discount weekly or monthly rentals. Always ask for the per-day rate on additional days.

Should I rent or buy a projector?

For a few events a year, renting is usually cheaper once you count the screen, stand, cables, storage and maintenance. For weekly use, buying may make sense.
