Rent by guest count, not by watts
Watt ratings on speaker boxes are hard to compare. Brands quote peak, RMS or PMPO numbers that don't line up with each other. The more useful question is how many people need to hear clearly. We size each speaker by guest count from what works at real events.
Mics: wired, wireless and none
If anyone will speak — birthday wishes, a welcome address, an anchor, karaoke — you need a mic.
- Wired mic (100W speakers): fine when the speaker stays near one spot.
- Two wireless mics (1000W): for an anchor plus a guest, duets, or passing a mic into the audience.
- Wired + wireless (2000W): a fixed mic for the podium plus a roaming one.
For hands-free speaking, add the wireless headset and collar mic kit.
Battery or mains?
Battery life decides where a speaker can go. The 12-inch party speaker and the 1000W speaker run about 3–4 hours unplugged, which suits terraces and lawns. The 10-inch 100W has about an hour, enough as a backup. The 2000W is a mains-powered PA speaker and needs a socket.
Indoors, outdoors and apartments
Sound spreads and fades outdoors, so for an open lawn choose one size up from your guest count. In apartments, check your association's rules on timing and volume. Outdoor loudspeaker use between 10 pm and 6 am is restricted under India's Noise Pollution Rules.
What every rental includes
Delivery, setup, phone pairing, a mic test, and pickup after the event. Delivery is free within 10 km of S.G. Palya. Beyond that, we quote the delivery charge when you book.
FAQs
Which speaker do I need for 100 guests?
The 1000W speaker with two wireless mics covers up to about 150 guests and suits most functions of 100.
Do speakers come with microphones?
All except the 80W Saga. The 100W speakers include one wired mic, the 1000W includes two wireless mics, and the 2000W includes one wired and one wireless mic.
What does the 8-hour rate cover?
One event slot of up to 8 hours. The full-day rate covers the whole day.
Do I need to arrange power?
Yes. Keep a working power point near the speaker. Battery speakers can run unplugged for a while, but the 2000W speaker runs on mains only.
Is setup included?
Yes. We deliver, set up, pair your phone and test the mic before leaving, then pick up after the event.
Are there rules about playing music late in apartments?
Yes. Under India’s Noise Pollution Rules, loudspeakers are not allowed outdoors between 10 pm and 6 am, and most apartment associations set their own limits. Check with your association before booking.
