A projector that holds up in a lit room
Brightness is the spec that decides whether a rented projector works in a real venue. Office meeting rooms with tube lights, banquet halls you cannot fully black out, a living room at 7 pm — these are where low-lumen home projectors wash out. At 3300 lumens, this NEC projector stays readable with the lights on.
It uses 3LCD, with a separate panel for red, green and blue. Colours stay consistent, and you don't get the rainbow flicker some single-chip projectors show on fast scenes.
Resolution and format: what to expect
Native resolution is XGA (1024×768) in a 4:3 shape. That suits slides, spreadsheets and photo slideshows. Widescreen 16:9 video still plays, with black bars above and below the picture. For a match screening or a slideshow nobody minds; for long-form cinema viewing, set expectations accordingly.
Picking an image size
The projector can throw up to 300 inches, but the same light spreads over a bigger area, so huge images look dim. As a working rule, keep it around 80–120 inches diagonal in a lit room and go up to about 150 inches only in a dark hall. Our 6×4 ft screen is about 87 inches diagonal and the 7×5 ft is about 103 inches.
Setup, connections and what's included
You get the projector, a stand, an HDMI cable and a 5 m extension box, so the power point doesn't have to be next to the stand. The 1.2× zoom changes image size without moving the stand much, and keystone correction squares the picture when the projector sits slightly off-centre.
Laptops with HDMI plug straight in. USB-C laptops and phones need their own adapter. Our team positions and focuses the projector and tests it with your device before leaving.

Delivery information
Free delivery within 10 km of our base in S.G. Palya, Bengaluru. Setup and pickup are included. Beyond 10 km, the delivery charge is based on distance and confirmed when you book. Same-day delivery is subject to availability, between 9 am and 8 pm.
Setup includes positioning, focusing and a test with your laptop.
Rental terms
An advance confirms your booking, with the balance due on delivery. A valid photo ID is required. You are responsible for the equipment during the rental, including venue permissions and noise rules.
FAQs
Is a projector screen included?
No. The screen is rented separately at ₹300 per day in 6×4 ft or 7×5 ft. A smooth, plain white wall also works for informal use.
Can I connect a MacBook or a phone?
Laptops with an HDMI port connect directly with the included cable. MacBooks with USB-C and phones need a USB-C or Lightning to HDMI adapter, so please bring yours.
Will it work in daylight?
It works well in rooms with lights on. In direct sunlight or open-air daytime settings, no projector at this brightness looks good, so plan outdoor screenings for after sunset.
How big can the image be?
Up to 300 inches on paper, but brightness spreads across the image. As a rule of thumb, keep it around 80–120 inches in a lit room and up to about 150 inches in a dark hall.
Does it play sound?
For anything larger than a meeting room, connect your laptop audio to one of our speakers. The 80W Saga or a 100W speaker suits most halls and living rooms.
Can I keep it for more than a day?
Yes. Each additional day is ₹1,200. Tell us your return date when booking.
